Doug is a big tender guy who just needs a little love and patients. Doug came to our program at a very late age and is still getting use to humans and an indoor environment. He loves his head scratched and his ears rubbed, but he is not a lap sitter. He loves long naps and treats and a very quiet home. Doug is just coming out of his shell and surprises you every day with his bravery and character. Through his best friend Dolly, Doug has even begun playing with toys and wrestling, enjoying the fun and relaxing kitty life he deserves.
The only reason such a beautiful cat like this has not been snatched up already is because he is feline leukemia positive. However, these cats can live a very long, happy life without issues. Doug currently is in the best of health and has no food, bathroom, or behavioral issues. If you are interested in adopting two cats, Doug would love to go to a good home with his best friend Dolly.
Please consider sharing your home with a deserving kitty.
