Vaughn is a very unique cat. He is not very active, but he will come running when he wants to be petted. This kitty is also incredibly calm. For example, things that normally startle a cat, like a new dog running up to him, vacuuming beside him - or even holding the vacuum up to his fur! - these things do not phase him. He is beautiful with big round squeezable cheeks that are so cute!  

Vaughn would be a good fit as an indoor/outdoor cat, where if he is tired of the humans, he can always run outside and catch some mice. He has been known to nip if overstimulated by vigorous petting. He is an incredibly calm, incredibly lazy boy who demands attention in the moments that he craves affection and then apparently just wants to be left alone. So he wouldn't necessarily be a good fit for someone looking for a kitty that wants to snuggle endlessly or play. 

But if you are looking for a big, strong, confident, lazy kitty who is good with dogs, other cats, doesn't mind loud noises, does not seem to crave heights - I've NEVER seen him on any of my cat trees - and needs only a small amount of interaction each day, then perhaps Vaughn is the one for you!

Our adoption fee includes spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations appropriate for the cat’s age, treatment for worms (if needed) and testing for Feline Leukemia.  Those cats 6 months of age and older are also tested for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).
