It may take Tarzan, most often called Zan, a little longer than some kitties to learn to trust you, but once you have his trust, he will let you know he LOVES you! He shows his appreciation for patient caring by following you around the house while keeping up a conversation, bumping his head on your leg to signal he wants even MORE petting, and purring contentedly while you scratch behind his ears.

He loves bird watching in open windows and is very good with other kitties. He would do well with a buddy to cuddle with in his kitty bed (or on clothing, should you choose to leave any lying around ).

Zan still gets skittish and does not care to be picked up too much but if you're looking for a super soft boy who will turn into a love bug after a little patience, he's for you!

Can't adopt today? Consider fostering! All you need is time to spend with your foster cat and the desire to make a difference in the life of a needy kitty. Please contact our Foster Coordinator at: to find out how you can be a foster parent for a cat in need of love and attention.
