"Roxy” became “Sylvie” when she came to her foster home, since the name suited her so well--like a little forest spirit of the air. Spirits dislike being confined, so free range works best for her. And like those shadowy imps, she is both beguiling and a little unpredictable, which is why she is probably best suited to an adult household.

Sylvie is very loving and very sweet. She will nestle in your lap, and loves to have her long, dark, silky coat gently stroked. She absolutely loves to play, and will do amazing twists and turns high in the air while chasing a string toy. She is very neat and clean and is in fine health. She’s curious about everything and feels free to get into just about anything. She’s strong-minded and knows what she likes, which mostly amounts to freedom of movement, affection, play, and a reasonable amount of quiet and routine. Mostly what Sylvie craves is a close, lasting bond with one person or several people, with whom she can feel safe and loved.
