Abbey is searching the internet for a permanent home. She came from a farm near Mazomanie. She was the tamest of around 20 cats and the two elderly women who care for them wanted her to have a better life than they could give her. Abbey, a young adult, is very affectionate - loves to knead whomever is holding her and would make a someone a wonderful lifetime lap cat. Unfortunately, Abbey has feline leukemia which means she probably won't live as long as a normal cat. However, she can lead a normal life if her caregiver monitors her health closely due to her compromised immune system. If you want the satisfaction of helping a disadvantaged animal who will return your love and care a thousand-fold, then Abbey is the companion for you.
